Atractus caete Passos et al., 2010

Type locality. Surroundings of the Pedra Talhada Biological Reserve, Quebrangulo, state of Alagoas, Brazil .

Distribution. Endemic to Brazil (Plt. 156A). Known only from two localities locality in the northernmost portion of the Atlantic Forest, close to its contact with the Caatinga (Plt. 156A), at intermediate elevations (Plt. 156B). No detailed field data on habitat use are available for this species.
