Atractus tartarus Passos et al., 2016

Type locality. Vila Palestina , Rondon do Pará, state of Pará, Brazil .

Distribution. Endemic to Brazil (Plt. 184A), restricted to eastern Amazonia and its contact with the Cerrado (Plt. 184A) at low elevations (Plt. 184B). Observed in the field in primary and secondary forest (Passos et al., 2016).
