Epictia munoai (Orejas-Miranda, 1961)

Type locality. Pozo Hondo, Tambores, Tacuarembó, Uruguay .

Distribution. Known from Argentina, Brazil, and Uruguay,at the southern portion of the South American open diagonal (Plt. 12A). In Brazil, widespread in the Pampas Grasslands, with marginal records in Araucaria Forest and Atlantic Forest (Plt. 12A), mostly at low elevations (Plt. 12B). Observed in the field in grassland, rock outcrops, and temporarily flooded areas (Giraudo, 1999; Ghizoni-Jr. et al., 2009).
