Type locality. WC, Riversdale Mts at ca. 450-1000 m asl.

Distribution. Known from sixteen variable sites, distant from the other subspecies, although all from the south-eastern WC: Garcias Pass near Riversdale, near stream, black sandy soil. Swellendam Mts at ca. 900–1500 m asl. Langeberg Mts at Swellendam: at various levels (ca. 150–1500 m asl); Duivel’s Bosch ‘kloofs’; cave in upland valley; Kolonie’s Bosch. Kloof in pass between Calitzdorp and Ladismith. Swellendam Mts at ca. 900– 100 m asl. Riversdale Mts north of Heidelberg at ca. 150–450 m asl.
