Type locality. WC: Langeberg Mts, near Swellendam, ‘kloof’ above Duivel’s Bosch.

Distribution. Known from four sites, all from the south-eastern region of WC: Langeberg Mts, cave in valley, at ca. 1200 m asl, leaf and rotting wood; mountains north of Heidelberg.

Remarks. Paratypes SAMC A21701 –3. Type material in few jars: BMNH 1938.7.1.2458–73, BMNH 1938.7.1.2474–2489 with variable notes: ‘jar has no types markings but does say n.sp. and mounting material’; notes on type material taken from BMNH notes.
