Type locality. WC, Cape Peninsula, Table Mtn, Kasteels Poort Gorge.
Distribution. This subspecies and its variable forms occur in the Cape Peninsula’s Table Mtn, and its close vicinity: Table Mtn northern slope; Oudekraal, near Camps Bay, bank of the stream. Paradise Estate near Kirstenbosch, oak-woods. Orange Kloof. Constantia Berg: bog in the valley above the waterfall of Prince Kasteel river; hillside leading up to Constantia Peak, above the waterfall; hillside above Lakeside, dry white sandy soil. Silvermine Valley, at bank of stream above the waterfall, at ca. 240 m asl. Chapman's Peak Road, hillside below the road, under stones. Stream half-way between Kommetjie and Witsands (castings abundant). Roadside about 1.5 km north of Witsands, under stones and sandy soil.
