Parachilota algoensis octocordatus: Zicsi 1998: 66; BMNH; HNHM.

Type locality. WC, Wellington near Durbanville, grass and scrub, sandy soil.

Distribution. WC, north-eastern proximity of Cape Peninsula. Zicsi (1998) it in EC, Mike’s Pass at 1100 m, in distant eastern Drakensberg foothills.

Remarks. Type material: BMNH 1938.7.1.1714 with a note ‘Michaelsen determined for original sp., Pickford for sub-species. Be aware the tube inside the jar does not appear to contain anything- but perhaps does spermatheca of the main specimen’. There is one juvenile specimen kept separate from the other 2 specimens in its own test tube with a note: ‘juv. spec. l. ant pen. Set. rudiments mounted’. Note and material need attention. Other material: HNHM AF/2599, material identified by Zicsi (1998).
