Parachilota pallidus: Reynolds & Cook 1976: 149; SAMC; BMNH.

Type locality. WC, Witte River Valley, Bains Kloof, near Wellington, marshy soil among stones and grass roots. Distribution. Known from few sites in the north-east proximity of Cape Peninsula, all in area of Bains Kloof. Remarks. Paratype SAMC A21601. Other material BMNH 1938.7.1.1362–1367.

Type locality. WC, Bains ‘kloof’ in Wellington area, near Observation Peak, at ca. 1200 m asl. among roots of Juncus, there were small patches of snow.

Distribution. Type locality only in north proximity of the Cape Peninsula (only one specimen). Remarks. Holotype BMNH 1938.7.1.875.
