Type locality. WC, Cape Peninsula, Table Mts, Echo Valley, bank of stream at roots of sedges.

Remarks. Pickford (1937: 302) under the heading “ Parachilota paishi ” gives a short key to two subspecies P. paishi paishi and P. paishi cerensis, based on distinctions in the length of penial setae. In this checklist the subspecies are accepted, although further evaluation of the taxonomic characters is suggested.
