Type locality. EC, Cumakala river below the graveyard at Stutterheim.

Distribution. Known from two distant sites. Described from EC coastal mountain range at Amatola foothills. Recorded from KZN midlands Podocarpus mist forest, in Karkloof Nature Reserve. Remarks. Type BMNH 1938.7.1.1293. Other material: HNHM AF/2511, AF/2512; NMSA/Olig.02710, NMSA/Olig.00248.
