Parachilota timothyi Plisko, 2008: 27 . Parachilota timothyi: NMSA.

Type locality. MP, 17 km N of Volksrust, right side at the crossroad to Sandspruit, recently burnt grass.

Distribution. Known from few collection sites, all at the outskirts of Drakensberg escarpment in the northwestern part of KZN and in Mpumalanga provinces. MP, 32 km W of Volksrust, banks of Skulspruit river, under the willow tree ( Salix sp.), marshy, wet soil. KZN, Ncandu Nature Reserve: grassland plateau along Ulumbi river, riverine bush mixed with exotic and indigenous trees; below bank of Ulumbi river, in indigenous riverine bush; on rocks covered by wet moss, under various plant roots; grassland, moist sandy soil.
