Parachilota restionis: Reynolds & Cook 1976: 163; SAMC; BMNH.

Type locality. WC, Wellington area, Bains Kloof, marshy biotope with restionaceous vegetation. Distribution. Species is known from sites in Wellington area, the north-eastern proximity of Cape Peninsula: Bains Kloof and Du Toits Kloof, boggy or marshy ground.

Remarks. Type material BMNH 1938.7.1.1153–68. Paratype SAMC A21605. At the type locality, mounds with channels between, in a rather ‘kommatjie’ like formation, apparently due to the action of species of Microchaetus, were observed (after Pickford 1937: 296).
