Parachilota witzenbergensis Pickford, 1937: 221 .

Type locality. WC, Witzenberg Vlakte, east of Tulbagh, at ca. 900 m asl.

Distribution. Type locality only in the north proximity of Cape Peninsula.

Remarks. Described on one clitellate specimen, transferrend from dryiness to sufficient state for dissection and description. The label with species name inserted in the tube numbered ‘SAM 159’, and Pickford comments (1937: 221) suggest that it is possibly the holotype.
