Distribution: PALAEARCTIC (Ascher & Pickering 2021).

Literature. Listed in Mavromoustakis (1956) as Megachile lagopoda fulvohirta Alfken, 1935, which can possibly be a distinct subspecies. Verification of type material is necessary in this case.
