Distribution: WEST PALAEARCTIC: Northern and eastern Mediterranean (Müller 2021).

Floral preferences seem to be strongly centred on Asteraceae genera, as well as Fabaceae and Lamiaceae (Müller 2021) . Our recorded flower visits do seem to follow this trend but include several records form other families within individual species visits such as Dipsacaceae and Boraginaceae .
