Distribution. Uralian–Far Eastern, boreal. From Polar Urals to Kamchatka and Primorye. Outside Russia: Mongolia.
Hostplants: unknown. Caterpillars of the nearest species L. brephoides (Walker, 1857) feed on Betula, Alnus, Populus and Salix (Beljaev 2016) .
Genetic note. There were not available material for DNA barcoding from the Baikal region, however, I have obtained the sequence from Altaian specimen (see “Material examined”). It differs from COI of L. brephoides (inhabits the boreal zone of North America) by 3.2–3.4%.
