Yezoceryx maculataexcels Wang, 1993: 206 . Holotype: ♂, China: Yunnan (IZCAS).

Diagnosis. Yellow with black marks; median carina of frons forming broad tubercle between antennal sockets; mesoscutum with U-shaped black mark; first tergite about 1.7–1.9× as long as its posterior width; first sternite with blunt tubercle or weak anteriorly projecting hook; ovipositor 2.5× length of hind tibia.

Distribution. Previously known from China (Wang, 1993). These are the first records of this species from Vietnam.
