Distribution and year: Moremi Game Reserve, Okavango Delta 2000 (Appleton et al. 2003).

Geographic range: Botswana, Madagascar, Malawi, Zimbabwe.

Habitat: Freshwater.

Notes: This is highly likely a variable species (Appleton et al. 2003) found in rivers and lakes (Van Damme 2018 b).

Type locality: Nossi-Bé Island, Madagascar (Kuiper 1966 a) .
