34. Pettancylus victoriensis (B. Walker, 1912)
Distribution and year: Okavango Delta 2000 (Appleton et al. 2003).
Geographic range: Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe.
Habitat: Freshwater.
Notes: The molluscs are common in a variety of waterbodies such as rivers, streams and lakes (Kristensen et al. 2010 a). In the Okavango Delta, the species was collected underneath leaves in deeper parts of the lagoon (Appleton et al. 2003).
Type locality: Victoria Falls, Zambezi River, Zambia (Walker 1912) .
