Archoplophora rostralis (Willmann, 1930)

Measurements of adults from China: Prodorsum: length 170–173, width 120, height 85–93, sensillus 80, setae: in 40, le 33, ro 25, distance between setae: in–in 63, le–le 70, ro–ro 48, in–le 33, le–ro 78; “notogaster”: length 228– 230, width 160–185, height 118–128; setae: c 1 38, c 2 35, c 3 15, c p 30, d 1 28, d 2 38, e 1 25, e 2 25; distance between setae: c 1– d 1 120, d 1– e 1 255.

Diagnosis. Rostrum pointed; lateral carinae of prodorsum absent; sensilli thick, setiform and barbed in distal half; interlamellar, lamellar and rostral setae fine; le–le> in–in> ro–ro; lamellar setae situated closer to interlamellar than to rostral setae; ss> in> le> ro> ex; “notogastral” setae fine except setae e 1 and e 2 thicker; eight pairs of “ventral” setae present, in which four posterior pairs thicker and others thin.
