Note. Wu et al. (1998: 4) and Liang et al. (2011: 1812) recorded Polytremis eltola tappana, an endemic

Taiwanese subspecies (Evans 1949: 447), in Dayaoshan and Guilin separately. It is impossible to check their

identification since no diagnostic information was provided.
