Distribution:Austria, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Estonia, Germany, Georgia, Greece, Italy, Kazakhstan, Iran, Latvia, Lithuania, Mongolia, Poland, Russia, Slovakia, Switzerland, former Yugoslavia.

Remarks:the species is frequently associated with Carex brizoides at moist sites, usually forest meadows or clearings (Nickel 2003). In this study, two specimens were collected on embankments inside avineyard with Carex caryophyllea and Carex hirta .
