Additional remarks. This variety (see Cowie & Thiengo, 2003: 75) was described by bibliographic reference to a work by Strebel (1874: 25, pl. 3, fig. 13, pl. 3a, figs. 13a, b), the publication date of which was given as 1873 by Cowie & Thiengo (2003: 96). However, Martens (1874b: 362) wrote “Das Werk führt auf dem Tital die Jahrzahl 1873, ist aber thatsächlich in der ersten Hälfte des Monats Mai 1874 erschienen” [The work is dated 1873 on the title page, but actually appeared in the first half of May 1874].
