Remarks. Attributed to Hardwicke by Gray. Whether intended to represent fasciata Roissy, fasciata Lamarck or a new proposal is not clear.

Additional remarks. Considered South American by Cowie & Thiengo (2003: 66), based on Ihering (1919: 336) and Alderson (1925: 33, 1926: 42), but a synonym of cecillei Philippi from Madagascar, teste Fischer & Vukadinovic (1974: 349), which was not noted by Cowie & Thiengo.
