This is a sibling species of H. triatomae, described in detail by Masner (1975).
Material examined
Holotype: female (CNC 881050; CNC 13469), INDIA: South India: Karnataka: Chikkaballapura, Gundlugurki, nr. Bangalore, April, 1973; reared on eggs of Linshcosteus sp. ( Hemiptera: Reduviidae).
Diagnosis
Hadronotus linshcostei and H. triatomae (sibling species) differ from H. galdikasae sp. n. and H. circus in having a distinct postmarginalis coupled with the absence of a medial notch on propodeum, whereas in the other two species the postmarginalis is absent and the medial notch on the propodeum is distinct.
