Distribution. Ruspolia differens is a very widespread species throughout tropical Africa, including Ethiopia, and is known to occur on some islands of the Indian Ocean: Zanzibar, Mauritius, Madagascar and Seychelles (Bailey 1975, Bailey & McCrae 1978, Massa 2015b).
Habitat. The Ethiopian specimens were collected in different bush, grass and tall herb vegetation.
