Material examined. ETHIOPIA: SNNPR, Bench Maji, Dembi Forest (1260 m), 14.IV.2015, R.P.W.H. Felix (1Ƌ, RFPC).

Distribution. This subspecies is supposed to be restricted to northwest Africa, east to Cameroon (Mungai 1987), but we collected one specimen in Ethiopia.

Remarks. See ssp. ruficornis .
