Material examined. ETHIOPIA: SNNPR, Bench Maji, Sheko Forest (1570 m), 13.IV.2015, R.P.W.H. Felix (1Ƌ, 1♀, RFPC), B. Massa (1♀, BMPC) ; Bench Maji, Dembi Forest (1260 m), 14.IV.2015, R.P.W.H. Felix (2♀, RFPC) ; Bench Maji, Sheko Forest (1340 m), 16.IV.2015, R.P.W.H. Felix (1Ƌ, RFPC) .
Distribution. This species is widespread in West, Central and Southern Africa, and is mentioned for Ethiopia by Jago (1977).
Remarks. We identified all male specimens with strongly widened cercus, with a short, finger-like lower lobe and a relatively long blunt upper lobe as E. anguliflava, following Dirsh (1966). Contrary to Dirsh (1966), the upper lobe is not obtusangular, but acutangular (blunt). The median carina of the pronotum is low.
