Material examined. Atacama: 1♀, Cuesta Pajonales, 24.IX.1967, Leg. R. Charlin (MEUC) (Fig. 147) .

World distribution. Argentina and Chile.

Chilean distribution. Only recorded from Atacama region.

Altitudinal range. This species mainly inhabits inland valleys between 400– 700 m.a.s.l.

Biology and notes. Copestylum willinki is here reported from Chile for the first time and associated with xeric conditions and semi-desertic shrublands. This species can be observed in the south of the Atacama Province in Chile (Morrone 2014). Other aspects of its biology and ecology remain unknown in Chile.

Conservation status. DD; AOO = 2 km 2 and one locality (or subpopulation).
