World distribution. Argentina and Chile.

Chilean distribution. From Coquimbo to La Araucanía region (Fig. 10).

Altitudinal range. From coastal to precordillera ecosystems (50– 1,000 m.a.s.l.).

Biology and notes. Myolepta haemorrhoidalis is a species associated to exotic flora as Crataegus sp. (Joaquín Sepúlveda, CSP record; Fig. 4) and Prunus domestica L. (Orlando Montes, CSP record) and native tree Quillaja saponaria Molina (Victoria Kunst, CSP record).

Conservation status. LC; EOO = 25,360 km 2; AOO = 68 km 2; 15 localities and subpopulations.
