World distribution. Peru and Chile.

Chilean distribution. From Arica y Parinacota to Los Lagos region (Fig. 39).

Altitudinal range. From coastal to highland ecosystems (10– 3,800 m.a.s.l.).

Biology and notes. Dolichogyna abrupta is the smallest species of this genus in Chile. Nothing is known about the biology of this species.

Conservation status. LC; EOO = 1,231,176 km 2; AOO = 52 km 2, 12 subpopulations and 13 localities.
