Type locality and data. “Santo Domingo, Valdivia, Chile ” (H, ♀, MNHNCL). Material examined. Los Ríos: 1♀, Santo Domingo, Valdivia, 22.IX.1987, Leg. E. Krahmer (MNHNCL). References. Barahona-Segovia & Barceló, 2019: 431, figs 1–4 (desc. & key). World distribution. Chile. Chilean distribution. Only recorded from Los Ríos region (Fig. 70). Altitudinal range. This species mainly inhabits native forests in coastal areas between 5 and 50 m. a.s.l. Biology and notes. Cepa simonettii is a species associated with the Valdivian evergreen forest. Other biological and ecological aspects of this species are unknown. Conservation status. DD; AOO = 2 km 2 and one locality (or subpopulation) .
