World distribution. Argentina, Brasil, Ecuador, Guyana, Paraguay, Uruguay and Chile.
Chilean distribution. From Arica y Parinacota to Tarapacá regions (Fig. 220).
Altitudinal range. From coastal to highland ecosystems (5–2950 m.a.s.l.).
Biology and notes. Toxomerus productus is an aphidophagous native species associated with crops and Hemiptera pests. All other aspects of its biology and ecology remain unknown.
Conservation status. LC; EOO = 86,531 km 2, AOO = 12 km 2 and three localities. This species is widely distributed in all South America.
