Type species: Aancistroger sinicus Bey-Bienko, 1957 .

Diagnosis. External margin of hind tibiae with 2–4 spines, internal margin with 2–4 spines, one of which very heavy and long, almost straight. Male ninth abdominal tergite apically truncate, with 1 pair of lateral spines, its apices directed downward; postero-ventral margin of epiproct with 1 pair of sclerotized prominences; cerci slender, incurved; epiproct and paraproct simple; subgenital plate elongate, without styli. Female seventh abdominal sternite without specialization; basal area of subgenital plate with membranous folds.

Species included. The genus consists of 5 species, 2 of which are known from China.

Discussion. In original description of Aancistroger inarmatus Ingrisch, 2018, male ninth abdominal tergite is not armed spines, and the tenth abdominal tergite with 1 pair of dorsally directed straight hooks. Perhaps, the species should be transferred to Dialarnaca Gorochov, 2005 . Herein we exclude the species from keys.
