Distribution. Peru, Venezuela.

Remarks. Previously known only from S Venezuela, but obviously occurring as far south as C Peru. This species is characterized as a member of the lichenalis group by its short and robust prothorax (pronotum width/length: 0.45; pronotum width/metazona length: 0.65). The hindwings are rusty in the proximal half, with a sharp transition to smoky in the distal half (Svenson 2014). New for Peru.
