Type species: Alloteratura backeri Hebard, 1922, by original designated.

Diagnosis. Apices of genicular lobes of postfemora obtusely rounded. Male subgenital plate partly or completely sclerotized, and articulated or fused with posteroventral corners of last tergite.

Distribution. China (Xizang, Yunnan); Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Papua New guinea.
