Paraprocts protruding (Fig. 108), shaded gray laterally. Caudal filaments whitish translucent.
Etymology. The specific epithet is a noun in apposition. The species is named in allusion to the type locality, Rio Demeni, the southern limit of Yanomami´s territories.
Distribution (Fig. 180). Brazil (Amazonas, Roraima, Acre).
Diagnosis. Campsurus demeni sp. nov., known from male adults, can be characterized as follows: 1) posterior margin of male abdominal sternum IX slightly concave (Figs. 107); 2) pedestal of each side distinctly separated in the middle, pedestal with long and apically rounded parastylus and inner corner roundly projected (Figs. 107, 110); 3) main lobe of penes apically rounded, with sclerotized margin toward the medial line and covered with small spines on outer margin (Figs. 108–109), secondary lobe small and rounded (Fig. 109); 4) paraprocts protruding distally (Fig. 108); 5) small size (length of male fore wings 7 mm).
Discussion. See discussion under previous species. The numerous small spines covering the penes near the outer margins are unique to this species.
