C. xiaoi (Tamura, 1998) comb. nov.

Distribution: China, Yunnan province (Tamura & Zhao 1998).

Note. Boat-like mucro and clearly polychaetotic chaetotaxy allow us to regard this species a member of the genus Ceratophysella, similar to C. horrida (Yosii, 1960), C. subhorrida (Babenko, 1994) and C. anshanensis . To establish their taxonomic relations more extensive material from the type locality of C. xiaoi is needed. Because of unknown sex and body size of only 0.6-1.0mm the types are suspected to be immature.
