Distribution. Costa Rica, Nicaragua; Mexico (Hidalgo, Oaxaca, Tlaxcala, Veracruz).

New to Mexico.

Comments. This is a distinctive species on account of the broad, white inner orbits complete to the level of the ocelli, abruptly white malar space behind the subocular sulcus, and comparatively stout, slightly upcurved ovipositor. Additionally, сompared with the other species that have a complete posterior transverse carina and notauli, subocular sulcus is bent, unlike in O. rectus, and ovipositor has a notch, which is lacking in O. luteoclypeus .
