The species has been reported from Colombia and Ecuador (Metcalf 1963c) but no specific locations in Colombia have been published.

Material examined. “ COLOMBIA Dept. Valle, Lower Anchicayá Alt. 400M. Tropical Very Wet Forest, Netted R. Wilkinson, III-5-76-1” (one male, AFSC) .
