Dorisiana bogotana (Distant, 1892) . n. comb.

Fidicina bogotana Distant, 1892: 58 .

The species has been a member of the genus Fidicina . However, it possesses bipartite tarsi and the timbal cover is roughly triangular and pointed, which make it a member of the genus Dorisiana and it is therefore reassigned.

The species has been reported from Colombia, Ecuador, Brazil and Peru (Metcalf 1963a). The species has been reported from Bogotà (Distant 1892; Jacobi 1907).
