Plautilla hammondi Distant, 1914b: 185 .

Odopoea sp. Salazar Escobar, 2005: 196, 204. The specimen identified as Odopoea sp. in Salazar Escobar (2005, fig. 11) was collected at Narino, La Planada, dos machos. It possesses the lateral extensions of the pronotal collar, the wing shape, venation and infuscation patterns, and the expansive opercula of Plautilla . The figure and pictures sent from the UNCC match specimens of P. hammondi in the author’s collection. The species has been reported previously from Ecuador (Metcalf 1963c; Duffels and van der Laan 1985).
