Material studied. 1 male, BRAZIL, Amazonas, Manaus, Lago Catalão, INPA floating, 03°14’46.25”S, 59°53’55.59”W, 07.vii.2008, leg.: Oliveira, C.N & Fusari, L.M. (MZUSP).

Distribution. This species was previously recorded from the State of São Paulo, Brazil; in the present study the range is extended to include the State of Amazonas, Brazil.
