Rhabdostyla chironomi (Kahl 1933)

Diagnosis: Size about 60 µm. Very similar in shape to R. commensalis, except for the thicker peristomial collar. Peduncle twice as long as wide and with transverse folds. Individuals found on the respiratory tubes of chironomid larvae ( Diptera, Chironomidae).
Remarks: diagnosis according to Kahl (1935).
