Type material: Microneta llanoensis Gertsch & Davis 1936, 3 HOLOTYPE from Llano, Texas, Dec., 1934, L. Irby Davis (AMNH). EXAMINED.
Diagnosis: Males are diagnosed from all Agyneta by their large, squared dorsal and elongated ventral cymbial tubercles (Fig. 426), from A. bronx by their short lamella characteristica (Fig. 425), elongated in the latter (Fig. 432). Females are differentiated from all species by conspicuous divering copulatory ducts visible on the proximal part of scape (Fig. 429). Whereas in A. bronx the copulatory ducts are converging on the proximal part of scape (Fig. 436).
Description: Male: Total length 1.98; carapace length 0.87, width 0.73.

CEPHALOTHORAX: Carapace light yellow-orange, shiny, finely reticulate. Sternum light yellow-orange, margin a shade darker. Clypeus height 4. Chelicerae orange, not excavated; seta-tipped tubercles absent; promargin five teeth, retromargin four denticles, retromargin with triangular projection near base of fang. Cheliceral stridulatory organ ~55 strong striae, well spaced, getting closer basally. ABDOMEN: Uniformly pale, whithish. LEGS: Light yellow; leg I total length: 5.42; leg III total length: 2.49; Tm I: 0.26, Tm IV: absent. GENITALIA: Palpal retrolateral tibial apophysis large, pointed and smooth; dorsal tibial apophysis extending at a right angle from tibia, rugose; two retrolateral trichobothria and one dorsal (Fig 425). Cymbium triangular; glabrous depression present (Fig 425); dorsal cymbial tubercle, squared and rugose; ventral tubercle elongated, rounded and smooth; prolateral notch deep (Fig. 426). Paracymbium apical pocket long, anterior pocket long and curved making a small cover, posterior pocket medium (Fig. 425). Embolus tip wide, with retrolateral extension; basally with row of spines; ventrally with numerous small spines; Fickert’s gland elongated situated basally; ventral lamella reduced or absent; thumb going slightly over the embolus proper (Fig. 427). Embolus proper set apically, ventral part wider, not serrated with associated large dentate prong (Fig. 427). Anterior terminal apophysis wide tip with numerous protrusions; posterior terminal apophysis short with row of spines; lamella characteristica short and multipart (Fig. 428).
Female: Total length 2.11; carapace length 0.89, width 0.70.
CEPHALOTHORAX: Same coloration as male. Chelicerae yellow; promargin five teeth, retromargin five denticles. Cheliceral stridulatory organ ~44 striae, well spaced getting closer basally. ABDOMEN: Same as male. LEGS: Same as male; palp tarsus normal, claw absent; leg I total length: 4.66; leg III total length: 3.28; Tm I: 0.22, Tm IV: absent. GENITALIA: Epigynum with extremely wide proximal part of scape; epigynal slits small and oval; pit hook depression wide (Fig. 429); lateral lobes short; stretcher small; pit deep (Fig. 431). Median part of scape narrow; genital pores situated at lateral lobes pockets (Fig. 431). Internal genitalia with elongated, ventral receptacula and a small, oval dorsal one (Figs 430, 431).
