Type material. Lectotype (ZMB Q4746), Paralectotype (ZMB 11168), Syntypes (ZMB 4746), North Atlantic Ocean: Greenland Sea.

Records. Bermuda. Brazil: Rio Amazonas; French Guyana (Hartman 1965).

Remarks. The record of this species from the Grand Caribbean is questionable. Its identity should be confirmed by comparing with type material.
