Opinion: There is no evidence that this species occurs in the region.

Justification:

Literature analysis: This species occurs in the western Mediterranean and the eastern Atlantic Ocean and was redescribed in detail by Bayer & van Ofwegen (2016). Rao & Devi (2003) listed it with no evidence of its occurrence in the region.
