Balantiocheilos melanopterus (Bleeker 1850)

Balantiocheilos melanopterus: Herre & Myers, 1937: 64 (Chandra Dam); Herre, 1940a: 33 (Chenderoh Dam). Remarks. From our field observation, this species may be extinct in the wild in Peninsular Malaysia.
