Parachela oxygastroides (Bleeker 1852)

Remarks. The Parachela oxygastroides we are referring to here is the Oxygaster oxygastroides figured in Roberts (1989) and described by Kottelat et al. (1993). Parachela oxygastroides from Peninsular Malaysia may be P. siamensis and this is comprehesively discussed in Kottelat (1995). We retain P. oxygastroides in this paper until the taxon is clarified by the authorities.
