Calicnemia eximia (Selys, 1863)

Specimens examined. 2♂ 1♀, Pia Oac, Cao Bang Prov., 16.V.2015, Quoc Toan Phan leg. ; 1♂, 30.IV.2014, Nam Bung, Yen Bai Prov., Tom Kompier leg.

Notes. This is a species of group 1 on the basis of its genital ligula with two long and narrow flagella (Fig. 4 F). Male of this species is characterized by its red face, antehumeral stripe, legs and abdomen. The female has, in contrast to the male, a pale yellow-whitish body pattern. Anal appendages typical of the genus Calicnemia, cerci almost as long as paraprocts (Fig. 4 D–E)
